[00:00:03] Speaker A: Y. Yo, what up, bro? Y' all stand for O.T. yeah. Nah, get that bread, bro. Y' all gotta stay for O.T. listen up, workers. Overtime is mandatory this weekend. No excuses. [00:00:23] Speaker B: Let me work. Please let me work. Let me work. Please let me. Like that. [00:00:34] Speaker C: Like that. [00:00:36] Speaker A: I'm a member of Osaka Omega Sci Fi fraternity. [00:00:41] Speaker D: Greta the Tittle tattle prattled on about the little metal bottle. She spat a bit of spittle on the modern brittle cattle in a bitter battle. [00:00:47] Speaker A: Hey, hey. [00:00:48] Speaker D: Stop questioning my methods, okay? I was chosen for this task for a very good reason. [00:00:54] Speaker A: No, you chose yourself. [00:00:57] Speaker D: A wicked biscuit. [00:01:07] Speaker A: Yo, what's going on, everybody? What's up? What's happening? What's happening? Shamaine, man. DJ High Star here for another episode of mandatory overtime. Shout out to y'. All. Appreciate y' all for joining me. The main aim here at mandatory overtime is to recalibrate our definition of manhoodness through every conversation in the community here. That community consists of all of us. So I appreciate you coming out here and joining me. It's just simply an audio Journal of an 80s, baby, you know what I'm saying? And social experiment and consistency. You could have been anywhere in the world, but you're here listening to me. And for that, I appreciate you. Thank you. Thank you. It could have been elsewhere. I appreciate you. Okay, don't confuse this with the manosphere. Just a place where the man is fair. So pull up a chair, like, comment, subscribe, hype, share, and make some noise because your man is here. Yeah, yeah, I'm talking about live from the 704 Charlotte, America. What's going on? All right, we treated the monks well. Everything went smooth. You know what I mean? I appreciate them for bringing the energy to the Queen City, but. Queen City, what up? What's happening? You know, time out now. Also, you're not just local, y'. All. Watch out for ice. Okay? I need y' all to watch out for ice from. Well, nah, these dudes that's with me, they straight ice. Ain't looking for them. I got a Russian sound engineer, y'. All. And a check, 1, 2, and we. And we. A check 1, 2. You know what I'm talking about? So let's go to work, y'. All. Live and fresh from a road trip. Just came back from Florence, South Carolina, shout out to the P.D. you know, Florence rode through Darlington, so got a chance to see the Darlington Raceway. That's where Drew Ski did his. His skit with the. As the white man at the. At the racetrack and everything like that. But shout out to darling. Shout out to Florence, the PD area, the whole PD area. Crux Media for showing me love, you know, I mean, went out there to check out my boy Be Easy, and l got a chance to appear on their show, the DJ Blaze Radio show podcast. And then also I got to got a chance to appear on L show Once Upon a Time in Music Pod podcast. Excuse me, with. With Cheryl Noyes. So I appreciate all of those brothers for showing me a great time out there in Florence. Had a wonderful time. But this is where the first actual revision starts at. So it's not. This is a little bit different for us, but it's not a revision from my past episode. But if you do listen to the DJ Blaze radio show, I. I'll just say this. I was excited, you know what I'm saying, to POD with my brothers and. And just have a good time. But also I wanted to. I was just over anxious. Let's just say that, okay, I was over anxious. So toward the end of the show, they was giving love to John Forte. And on the listen back, I did step all over Big Be Easy's, you know, his. His respect that he was showing to John Forte. So I do apologize for that. Again, charge it to my anxiety and me being excited being out there. I was just. I listened back to it on the playback and I was. There were moments. There were moments, and just say that, okay. But nevertheless, awesome show. I think the show turned out awesome. Both episodes, both shows that I recorded with both podcasts. But, yeah, I had a great time. Fantastic time. Y' all. Make sure that, y', all, wherever you get your podcast at, make sure that you follow and subscribe and listen to DJ Blaze Radio show podcast. They've been rocking for, like, over 10 years. But then also the Once Upon a Time in Music podcast, we had an awesome time there. Some nostalgic stuff, throwing, throwing back, you know, as far as, like, going through throwbacks and. And things that we went through in our childhood and traveling back in time, and it was a wonderful, wonderful experience out there. Had to fight the weather, you know, so that was. That was the main thing. The rain was coming down. Shout out to my driver, rebuild. You know, I'm. Time out. Suits you. Because we made it there and back safe. I was truly putting in mandatory overtime on Sunday. Speaking of Sunday and Saturday. Ah, man, fanduel. Now I got to be transparent with y'. All. All right? We do got our gambling episode, and you gotta listen back to it. I'm giving the cautions and the precautions of gambling and kind of where it can lead and everything like that. You know what I'm saying? And I'm here, I'm there, I'm popped, y'. All. Not. I'm just playing. I'm not popped. But I've. So I've been running off of free money for about three months now. Some good bets back in, like, October on some football, some live bets that gave me a little bankroll, you know what I'm talking about, to run with. So these last couple weeks in the playoffs been whipping my ass, y'. All. I'm gonna be real. But however, comma, I took out, let's say, about 75 of my earnings. And then I've only been gambling with the. You know, with the rest, so it wouldn't. I wouldn't consider it as bad, but, you know, I. I'm just seeing the. The downside of all of this, man. But nevertheless, the Knicks looking bad. Panthers out of the playoffs. Let's see here. What else is going on in sports, y'? All? Oh, outside of the Patriots, almost everybody else that I picked, they sold on me. San Fran, it was all injured and banged up. I don't even know if we'll get to the sports in A section, but in a second. But again, just to put a bow on it, I wanted to show some love to my family out there in Florence, South Carolina, the Crux Media family also. L. I gotta do my research again. I'll charge it to my heart. I mean, my head, not my heart, but your. Your media group. That's name. I don't want to call it the wrong thing, but shout out to you as well. So, yeah, that was. That was my weekend. Make sure y' all catch those episodes and everything like that. Got a little bit of building wisdom that we do want to get to, though this week. See here? [00:08:22] Speaker B: Is that Prince for King? [00:08:24] Speaker A: Come here, Prince. [00:08:25] Speaker B: What's today's mathematics, yo? [00:08:27] Speaker C: No disrespect, but we ain't in all of that, son. Build, Destroy. The builders. To elevate the mentalities of self and those around self, to add positive energy to every nation. To build, you must first start from the root, which is the knowledge foundation, and add on to the highest peak. To destroy is to eliminate and destroy any and all negativity that enters my cipher of supreme harmony. [00:08:49] Speaker B: Peace, God. [00:08:50] Speaker C: Peace, God. [00:08:52] Speaker A: Do the knowledge. [00:08:53] Speaker B: I know you going to dig this. [00:08:56] Speaker A: All right, so our first piece of wisdom that we're going to build on is going to come from Cousin Jerome in the group chat, in the cousin's Group chat. Shout out to my cousin, man, up in D.C. i got to get up. I got to get up there to D.C. sooner than later. See my cousin, man. See here. So these started after last week's show. But never do something permanently foolish just because you are temporarily upset. It's tough. Also, Proverbs 14 and 29. Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding. I like that one. All right, this one was. See here. This is MLK Jr Monday Motivation. So he sent this yesterday. Part of self on MLK Day. True peace is not merely the absence of tension. It is the presence of justice. We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope. It's tough, especially considering everything that we're going through as a nation. And then also we have one from Marilyn French. It says, men stumble over pebbles, never over mountains. Read that this morning. I was like, wait, what? But I said, I'll go through it with y'. All. I'll read it one more time just in case anybody wants to chime in. But it says, this is by Marilyn French. It says, men stumble over pebbles, never over mountains. So perplexed me a little bit. I don't know. It's different interpretations you could take of that. Perhaps, like, men move mountains and don't stumble over them or something. I'm not sure. Let's see here. I do want to give y' all some from Taz as well. Let's see here. Life is too ironic. It takes sadness to know what happiness is, noise to appreciate silence and absence to value presence. I love that. It's tough. I definitely have learned that lesson. Let's see here. When life gives you a hundred reasons to break down and cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile and laugh. Stay strong. I like that as well. All right. Seek to be a person who finds peace when something triggers you instead of getting angry and seeking revenge. That's tough, too. So the next couple that I'm gonna read are actually going to come from some emails that we got, y'. All. You know, I'm talking about. Oh, I said some emails that we got, y'. All. Appreciate it. I'm pulling up the emails. I do want to mention that we did. I did email on behalf of us as a community. Coco and the culture. Coco and the Culture with me. And me. Coco and if you know, you know. But shout out to Coco and the culture. She read my email on there, y'. All. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. Sort of a big deal. Shout out to Coco and the culture. Y' all make sure y' all tune into her show as well. But I do want to pull this up. Our first email is from Fat Boy. Is from Fat Boy. Yeah, that's a little bit better. Fat Boy. Fat Boy. All right, that's enough. I gotta find. Oh, there we go. All right, so it says, peace, high star, and mandatory ot. I'm gonna start this one off with some positive vibrations. Okay. First, your energy either creates friction or flow stuff. Second, you attract based on who you are, not just what you are. I want to say that's what I'm gonna say. Not just what you are, but who you are. So I like that as well. All right. And it says barbershop talk. So I'm in the barbershop, and we were talking about these two guys fighting over a female. Out of nowhere, the barber says, why was he fighting over that? Hold on. He said, why was he fighting over that? He be with Doodoo Man. No, no. Excuse me, Y' all see, here's the problem with emails. You got to read them the right way. It said the barber, after they was fighting over the female, when they were talking about two guys fighting over a female, the barber says, why was he fighting over that? He be with Doodoo Man. Okay. Good gracious. The Doodle man is wild as hell. He continues and says to Fat Boy, you know doo Doo man? Fat Boy retorts, nah, I don't know to do the man. My question is, why do you know the Doodoo Man? Talking about the barber. Valid question, and you just found a way to irritate Ronnie. All right, so just putting this in the air. I got the Seahawks, Bills, Patriots, and Rams this weekend. I'm patiently waiting for February 6, 26. 26. The fall off shout out. Peace, Fat Boy. So shout out to brother Fat Boy. Fat Boy for sending in the email. Let's. Let's unpack this a little bit. Again, shout out to you for the wisdom. Appreciate that your energy either creates friction or it creates flow. I agree completely. I try to be one, you know what I mean? And adapt to all things. Not. Not try not create friction. But I love that also, you attract based on who you are, not just what you are. I like that because it goes back to a little bit of what we were talking about last week with that clip from the Matrix, when it's about preparing yourself for the person that you want to be making the decisions in the future for you. So I definitely love that. The barbershop talk. I'm gonna keep that light. Yeah. It's a whole smorgasbord, Swaggy. You know, the doo doo man is similar again to Jerome calling me the booty man last week as. Excuse me. It was just all thrown off. You know, there's that one meme where the white guy, he like. He shakes his head. Excuse me. That's. That's what I feel about that. Now to your football takes. He went three for four, it looks like. Went three for four. Only thing is, the Bills were beat by the Denver Broncos this past weekend, so very accurate on that, fat boy. And also with 26. 26. The fall off. I want to ask y' all now. Yeah, I said last year that dream. Last year's Dreamville was the last Dreamville fest. What do y' all feel is going to occur the end of March, the beginning of April, this year around that rally area? Just asking. Just asking. Don't rule out anything. All right, so shout out to you again, fat boy. I appreciate the. Appreciate the email. All right, we got a second email as well. Want to go ahead and read. And again, this all kind of blends in with building wisdom. So I appreciate everybody that has emailed in and some of the stuff that you're contributing to the community. All right, this one is from Reb. Hey, Mandatory OT Fam. First and foremost, happy Founders Day to the lovely ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Ski wee my soroars. I wish I had set it off. Queued up. All right, I just finished my first book of the year, When Crack was King by Donovan X. Ramsay. I think the guy's name is Donovan X. Ramsay. Okay, five out of five. She says it humanizes the crack epidemic from the perspective of actual people of color living during that time. My next book is all about love. Excuse me. My next book is All About Love by Bell Hooks, which analyzes the racial and ethnic implications of love. The basketball. Excuse me. The basketball conversation is generational. By the way, my students will have this LeBron, Jordan, Kobe conversation often. And interestingly enough, they also add an ethical layer on top of their basketball skills. For example, Kobe's scandal, Colorado as we all know it. Or Jordan's gambling addiction. The kids are all right. Rest in peace. To Renee Nicole Good. Empathy and fascism can't coexist. All of the responses from the right are by design. She should have just complied. Is a way. Excuse me. She should have just complied. Is a way to shift accountability to the victims. And of course, in parenthesis, in parentheses, she has. We have seen this before, right? ICE as a record label Staff and as a crew, please stay informed and know your rights. Peace and love, Reb. Shout out to Reb for the email as well. All right, so let's take some salmon and beg this, first of all. All right. Because I couldn't. It's just so much. Just wanted to show some love. Happy Founders Day to the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. 1908-. Right? 2, 1 and 2, 1 and 2 and 3, 4, 1, 9, oh, 8. Who got the whistle out there? All right, all right, all right. Listen, man, I know it's mandatory ot, but gotta show love to the ladies out there, especially if your ladies and AKA let's keep it funky. Yeah. So here we go again. Happy Founders Day once again, again. So that book, Shout out to Arie B. I'm a. I'm gonna borrow that from you. I'm gonna go ahead and read that book. When Crack was King. Her and I have had some discussions regarding that book. So, yeah, it. She was talking about the different perspectives that. That they had, the stories and the anecdotes from. So definitely read that. And then All About Love by Bell Hooks. Okay, you got that one. But yeah, I agree with the basketball conversation thing being generational, and that's the thing. The greatness of LeBron that can't be understated, or the greatness of Kobe that couldn't be understated. Because you do have some people that are select to their generation, if you will. It's Tracy McGrady. It's like, if you were there, you were there for that. Grant Hill, if you were there for that, you were there for that. Jason Kidd, even AI, to a certain extent. A lot of these younger, younger kids, they're not able to appreciate kind of what AI did for the game, like some of the generations before them. So thank you again, down to the last paragraph, though. Once again, rest in peace to Renee. Nicole. Good. I certainly agree with you there. Empathy and fascism, they don't coexist. That's why I definitely reserve my empathy for a lot of these people that are doing what they're doing. Let's just say that. I hate to call it polarizing with sides and stuff like that, but the people that have the wicked energy and are doing what they're doing, I have little to really no empathy for any of them that don't have any accountability of what they're doing. And again, it really goes right into your next sentence where this. The term she should have just complied is a way to definitely shift accountability. We know that all too well, because we hear that in the comment section of any type of videos with us being done wrong, us black people, whenever we're being harmed by police or harmed by anyone of authority, it's always that sentence they should have just complied. So again, you know, in the words rb, Ace, as a record label, as a staff, and as a mother crew. And if you're down with ice, goes for you, Iceman, the album Iceman iced tea right now. Not. Not the. Not the rapper, y', all, but the drink, the beverage. Anyways, going a little too far with that. I wanted to move forward to real things hurt at work. So let's go ahead and move forward real quick, y'. All. This is just a sentence that I heard at work. This is. This is very real. And let me see here. So in the break room or whatnot, I'm about to lay my head down and take me a little nap and stuff. All I hear out the outside of my sign peripheral, all I hear is see here. Yo, man, man, answer the phone, man. Real, yo, going through some life or death stuff right now. Okay, this is at 5:35. No, pardon me, it's 5:35 in the morning, so. All right. The brother was right there at work with me, so I don't know what he was going through, y'. All. And shout out to him, you know, I hope you got through it and was able to do what you was able to do. Got that taken care of. Whoever. To pick up the phone at 5:30 in the morning to pick up the phone. I'm not sure as real things heard at work, y' all do the knowledge. Nope, I ain't want to hit that button. But to move right along to our out for lunch segment, this is. Is going to be kind of quick this week, but I know I've been on the Daniels fast. So this is week number two, y'. All. Well, this is actually completed week number one. So it's only seven days so far. However, been adjusting, finding things to eat. So recently went to Chipotle, got the regular burrito bowl that I normally get, but had to do all veggies kind of, So a veggie vibe with it. So with the veggie vibe, guac comes free with that, y'. [00:24:36] Speaker C: All. [00:24:38] Speaker A: Guac comes free with that. So I went ahead, got some brown rice, pinto beans, lettuce, I believe the veggies, right? The sauteed or the fajita veggies. And then there was guac through there. So what I was able to do, went ahead and wrapped that in some tortillas, some wheat like so whole wheat tortilla wraps and made me some like little bean bean and rice burritos. So that's what I'm, that's what I've been up to in Daniel's Fest. And and smoothie vibes have been smoothie vibes have been on point. So you know, had the regular pre packaged smoothie like you know, portion and then been chopping up fresh ginger in there, whoops, some apples, banana if I have it, you know, lemon juice, some limes, turmeric and then call it a day. Yeah, you know today I did do an avocado, a half an avocado in my, in my smoothie. So you know we, we trying to do the damn thing whenever it comes to that. Let's see here though. So also before we leave out for lunch for this week, wanted to read this article from the Guardian. It reads, let's see here. Tortilla, broccoli, a Piece of Chicken US Agriculture Secretary Mocked for Money Saving Meal so Brooke Rollins, the US Agriculture Secretary, is facing ridicule from congressional Democrats, among others, after claiming Americans can save money and have their meals aligned with new Department of Health and Human Services dietary guidelines by simply eating a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, a corn tortilla and one other thing, quote, unquote. This is a direct quote from them. One representative even called the remarks a slap in the face to the struggling working families. Rollins made the remarks during an interview with News Nation in response to a question on how average Americans will afford adapting their meals to the White House's updated food pyramid, which emphasizes red meat, which is red flag full fat, dairy and saturated fats, while discouraging ultra processed foods and sugar. The rising cost of groceries has been a major issue for Americans in recent years. How does cause play into this? Host Kano McShane asked, and I guess the reason I ask is that I'm thinking back to the consumer price index report that just came out and although inflation overall, as you know, kind of held steady, 2.7% in annual rate on the consumer level, we did see grocery prices, especially month to month, jumping up. And so it still costs people a lot to go to the grocery stores. When is that going to change? Is what he asked. Rollins answered, I think the question you're asking, and it's a real important one, is while we're asking Americans to reconsider what they're eating, are we actually asking Americans, especially those who are living on the margins, are we asking them to Spend more on their diet. And the answer to that is no. She continued, we've run over a thousand simulations, whatever that means. And it can cost around $3ameal for a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, you know, a corn tortilla, and one other thing. So there is a way to do this that actually will save the average American consumer money. See, this is what I'm talking about, y'. All. When they say, like, numbers do lie because people skew it in any way that they want to, they become their own lawyer and they try to sell you a dream, they're gonna piss on you and tell you that it's raining next. All right, hey, that's just. It's a bunch of bullshit. All right? That's crazy. But again, that's the out for lunch segment, if you will, for the week in the Alpha lunch and such as down note. But yeah, that's what we're dealing with with the Department of Agriculture. And pay attention to that updated food pyramid as well, y'. All. And real red flaggy. I don't know what's going on, but nevertheless. Nevertheless. Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and move forward with the episode. I wanted to go ahead and take the time out to let y' all know. Listen, if y' all want to show love and contribute or to the community or whatnot, feel free to send us an email. Mandatory ot704gmail.com@email address is mandatory ot704gmail.com Also, feel free to call the hotline at 7047-8170-1170-4781-7011 and we'll make sure that you heard on the show. Okay, I appreciate y'. All. I wanted to go ahead and move forward with the episode, and I wanted to show some brotherly love to my queen's bread Ran. All right, My fault. Queensbridge legend. All right. I wanted to show love to my brother Nas, y'. All. Nasir Jones, man. So outside of his philanthropic efforts and things like that, he has recently stepped into the world of gaming and entertainment with the casino bid that he's done in New York. So it'd be bringing the casino out there. I'm. I'm still not sure how I feel about that either way because, again, I'm grown doing this gambling thing, but I don't like how accessible it is to. To everyone. You know, hey, but what can you do? Nevertheless, I'm not sure how I feel about that. But one thing that is for sure is that Nas has been aging gracefully, but also doing things on his terms. That's what I've been rocking with the most. That's what I've been the most with this whole with NAS post 40, if you will, and all of the decisions and stuff that he's been making. So shout out to him. Shout out to Mass Appeal, right? So Mass Appeal, All right. This article is from Forbes. This was back in December that they printed this article or published this article rather. But the end Of December in 2025, mass appeal launched a campaign that repackages hip hop class acts as a label asset class and long term economic stabilizer stabilizers. Earlier this year, NAS's mass appeal launched the Legend has It campaign, a curated collection of seven new albums from legacy hip hop artists, with the Illmatic artist holding a feature in each album. The campaign began in June in June with Victory, a cinematic visual album by Slick Rick. Executive produced by Idris Elba and directed by Major G, the work is the golden eras artist, first in 26 years. Victory immediately set the tone with his audio visual framing. Unlike the conventional album release, which re platformed Slick Rick as a multi format storyteller, right? Legend has it continued with Raekwon the Emperor's New Clothes, his eighth solo album. Rather than positioning longevity as a diminishing return, this release treated Raekwon's catalog as cumulative capital. Each release builds upon the last and reinforces Wu Tang's broader economic ecosystem while stabilizing revenue through a deeply loyal fan base that's resistant to algorithmic instability. Let's see here. The campaign's clearest articulation of the sequel economics emerged with Ghostface Killer Supreme Clientele 2 2. So that was number three, right? And then with Infinite, the first Mile Deep album since the 2017 untimely death of Prodigy, the legacy was further expressed as an act of continuity versus memorial. So rather than functioning as retrospective, the album reinforced Mobb Deep as an active hip hop brand. To that see here. What did. Oh yeah. Then after that, Harlem's Finest Return of the King. That was big L, his fourth posthumous album release since his 1999 death. It featured different like freestyles from like stretching barbito joints that he did with Jay Z as far as freestyles with that and and things of the set. So then he also had Daylight Soul, right? Cabin in the Sky. A lot of people have that for that. One of their albums of the year. So the first album that since them gaining their ownership back of their masters following the 2023 death of the True Boy, the Dove, member of Excuse Me True Boy, the Dove, the member of De La Soul that we lost. Rest in peace. So the combination of ownership with narrative framing showcases how artist controlled catalogs can re enter the market with renewed leverage and longevity. So it gave them a renewed leverage, if you will. The campaign concludes and finishes off with Light Years Again, the collaborative album by Nas and DJ Premier Classic Hip Hop Reunion. People have always asked for this from both of them. So again, this is. This was a campaign of seven albums, putting together seven different albums, seven different press runs and media runs, or roll outs as they call them, and getting these artists popping and relevant in this space, in this current space. So salute to Nas for doing that. Also, while we at it wanted to take some time to show some brotherly love. Also, the TI see that he went ahead. He had a special that he put out comedy special shortly after he's put out Reaction recently a single with Pharrell. So I'm not sure how he feels about the comedy special, but just shout out to him for. For taking that swing. And I mean, he'd been doing comedy and putting in the work for a while, so it's respected definitely now it's of course harder than it looks, so we'll see how it's received. But just salute for you for. For doing that. You know what I'm saying? That's if that's something that you wanted to do. I appreciate you for doing that and putting that out in the atmosphere. My bad, you know, my buddy. Yeah. Salute again to Nasir Jones, man, one of my favorite mzs from Queens. It's really hardly let me down. No pun intended, J. Cole, but yeah, Nas. I've never been disappointed with any news or any. Anything coming out about Nas. He just, you know, is a. Is a grown man about his. So shout out to Nas. Wanted to take the time and kind of switch it up this week as we kind of close out. Said my twin sister is in town. So first of all, shout out to that. Shout out to Joy. She's in town. I don't know if she wanted me to drop her government, but. Oh well, I gotta take her to the airport. So that's going to be my reason this week. I'm getting a better end. But I do want to switch up High Star Bars this week and I want to do a High Star bars flashback, if you will, because remember, this is the audio journal of an 80s baby. So I want to take y' all back. The year might be about 1994, 95 or something like that. Let's see here. And. Somewhere in Brooklyn, when I heard this for the first time. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I don't know. [00:37:14] Speaker B: Try your best to diagnose. When I host, you get to roast. When I rumble, you crumble. My stuff is good. Like, more than gold. [00:37:31] Speaker A: I just wanted to play a little snippet of Danger by Blase, Blase, because I've been teased a lot this past week, and compared to the Drew Ski skit of when he's, you know, saluting hip hop and got the little funny Talib Kweli hat on or whatever. But I'm here to preserve real hip hop. Hip hop, you know what time it is? You know what I'm saying? So that's what. That's what I do it for. That's what I do it for, man. You know? How's that? High star, High Star bars flashback of the week this week. Like I said, gotta keep it kind of short this week, man. I appreciate y' all checking in and definitely appreciate the love. As far as the emails that were sent in. Show love. It don't show nothing. It'll cost nothing to show A. All right, so we want to go ahead and show some brotherly love, of course, without mention. Be easy, my brother. Be easy. And then also L out there in Florence, I want to show them some brotherly love. The whole Crux Media family, Yoshi cl, Everybody out there. For sure. I'll put poison. I ain't gonna forget about you, girl. Thank you. Thank you. I'll show you love. Coco want to show you some love, girl. From a brother to my sister, I wanted to show you some love because I don't want to frame it as brotherly love with you, but definitely appreciate Reb want to show you love, as always, and Fat Boy for sending in that email now. Also on the side, I've been getting, you know, my feedback on the side. I don't know if they want to remain anonymous and stuff like that, but a lot of my peoples, you know, that has been hitting me on the side and let me know that they tapped in and that they appreciate what I'm doing or that they can congratulate me on the show or, you know, say I did a good job on the show. I appreciate all of that love. It means much more than y' all realize. You know what I mean? So salute to y' all as well. Real quick, shout out to Fat Boy, Old Man Q, and Mix Master T. Excuse me. And I'm gonna refrain from. From Old Man Q. I don't want y' all to get the wrong idea or whatnot. That's my brother. He's not an old man by any stretch of the imagination. I don't want you to get the wrong picture. And like I'm catfishing. It's cute. It's cute. All right. It's cute. So, Q Mix Master T, Fat Boy, of course I appreciate all y'. All that poker game, yo. Poker game? He's turned up. Good time at the poker game. I was sober. I wasn't drinking or nothing like that, but good time at the poke game, y', all, you know? So I'm gonna say this with supreme faith that's in God. It's a prayer that straight from the heart. May the ego nor the hubris ever break us apart. And from one brother to another, if nobody's ever told you before, I love you. All right, Peace out, y', all, man. I appreciate it. Appreciate y'. All. I'll catch y' all on next episode of Mandatory ot. Hey, everybody, it's closing time. You don't gotta go home, but you can't stay here. It closing time. [00:40:58] Speaker B: Do the knowledge. Let me work. Please let me work. Oh, you going to dig this. [00:41:06] Speaker A: Ex Blackly. Ex Blackly. [00:41:14] Speaker D: Greta the tittle tattle prattled on about the little metal bottle. She spat a bit of spittle on the modern brittle cattle in a bitter battle. [00:41:20] Speaker A: Hey, I'm a member of Omega sci fi fraternity.
